Enrichment is anything that adds choice, engagement, curiosity, seeking and play into their habitat, with the added benefits of decreasing stress and supporting a healthy nervous system, improving proprioception and learning capacity, reducing stereotypic behaviours, and increasing quality of life. Join Alexa Linton of Outside the Box Equine at Raven Moon Farm for an afternoon of learning, discussion and creativity as we explore all the ways to enrich your equine habitat space. You’ll leave with some great ideas you can implement right away. We’ll break down the most incredible enrichment of all, horses living with horses – with a skill-building session on herd integration with the help of the Raven Moon herd. Alexa will also give a guided tour of the Raven Moon paddock paradise track system and share about how to create amazing (and affordable) horse habitats. Only 15 spaces available.
