Description

Tired of watching expensive aggregate wash away from your Wet Coast horse habitats and be replaced by mud-creating organics? Join us for an afternoon at Raven Moon Farm and learn how to grade, compact and keep your gravel where it needs to be with horseman, handyman and aggregate specialist Dan Judson. Learn all about the different types of gravel and footing, what to use where and why, how to create mud-free high and dry zones in your pacific northwest horse spaces, how to keep horses together without breaking the bank on footing, where to integrate mud grids for the best value, how to use a small tractor for big results and what not to do when it comes to grading and your shelters and barns. A must for anyone who owns or leases property! Alexa Linton of Outside the Box Equine will also give a guided tour of the Raven Moon paddock paradise track system and share about how to create amazing (and affordable) horse habitats. Only 15 spaces available, pre-registration required.

Sunday May 17, 2026 from 1-4pm at Raven Moon Farm (Cowichan Valley) – $75 CAD+tax
