SUMMARY:The Whole Horse Collective In-person Retreat!
DESCRIPTION:This year’s WHC 3-day retreat will be held right here at Raven Moon Farm on Vancouver Island from June 27-29\, 2026\, 9:30-4:30pm and will include horses (of course) and (limited) spaces to stay! June 26-30th. The investment for the retreat is $425 CDN (includes tax). Head here to register or send an etransfer to al***@*********on.com. Payment plans available by request – happy to support you to attend in any way I am am able. \nOur five acre forested farm is a five minute drive to the Cowichan River\, 10 minutes to Cowichan Lake\, directly on the Cowichan Valley trail for hiking and bike riding and also has a full sized pool and hot tub which should be lovely come June! We will have several spaces available to stay in our home as well as our vintage travel trailer and several spacious tenting spots in close proximity to nature and our four horse herd. We’ll be setting up our outdoor kitchen in good time for our retreat and will also open up our own fridge and kitchen as needed. Hopefully it will even be warm enough for the pool. This will be an opportunity to immerse yourself in the retreat\, fully unwind and be in nature and definitely a great chance to visit one of the most amazing places on earth at a lovely time of year! \nThis time together is an opportunity to integrate and embody the learning from our time together in the Collective and to meet in community. This year’s retreat will include medicinal herb harvesting and wildcrafting and salve/flower essence making\, sound healing with the horses and learning how to use tuning forks\, animal communication basics including Applied Kinesiology\, equine body work (with some great cranial techniques!)\, teachings/demos in hoof care with Nicole Jory\, explorations in ethical training with special guests\, a BBQ gathering\, and much more (and I am always open to your ideas and inspiration). \nThere are twelve spaces available for the retreat for WHC members\, with up to 6 spots for accommodation on site. If you would like to reserve a spot on site let me know as soon as possible\, as it will be first come\, first serve. Pricing for accommodation will depend on the number of people staying and whether you are in a shared room/trailer or on your own\, or are comfortable camping\, but will be between $20-100 CDN per night with the option to stay three or four nights. If you’re open to sharing a large cozy king size bed with a friend for a reduced rate\, please let me know. Also\, let me know if your preference is your own private space.
